See what the trip looks like
If the trip is pretty short, your saved music on Spotify or playlist on Youtube might do the trick. These should include your most listened to or most recent songs. Because of the familiarity and easy accesibility to these songs, it should allow the time to pass a little quicker. However if the trip is longer, throw some oldies, classic rock, boybands, or even Disney music in there! This spices up the ride a little and is bound to boost energy, which is needed on a long trip.
2. Who are your companions? (if you have any)
Including input from your friends is important as well, even though they may or may not fall asleep depending on the length of the ride. Make sure to involve them in the music selecting process. Not only will it make them feel like they contibuted to a beautiful life memory, but it will allow them to be more comfortable, and the more comfortable they are, the less fussy they are.
3. Try listening to different music
If your and indie/pop type a person (such as myself) switch it up and try something you wouldn't.Your headed to a new place, so might as well try something new right? This is a great time to discover yourself while discovering new music and artist at the same time. And who knows, you might like it.
