Study Playlist Tips.

I can't help you study, but I can help make it a little less painful! Hopefully these tips will destress and give you everything you need to focus on your studies

1. Depending on the difficulty, it maybe better to listen to certain types of music. If the subject is really difficult and 100% focus is necesarry, listen to instrumental music or even your favorite song on repeat. This, allows some type of background noise that is nice and not too distracting. However, if its a short homework assignment or a paper,  listen to more upbeat/ fast paced music. This encourages speediness and efficiency (from what I have noticed at least)

2. If you are studying a foriegn language, it is CRUCIAL to listen to music in that language while you study. This allows a more fluid thinking activity as well as stimulates certain parts of the brain. If you are listening to music in your native language, you are not getting the full experience and it can more than likely, unintentionally, confuse you.

3. During study breaks, try to unplug. I personally do not listen to music during study breaks because it tends to over stimulate me and cause anxious behaivior. If that happens then it is basically impossible to finish a study session. So take a breather, get some water, then get back to it.
